New Headquarters for Route One

Following another successful year in business, Route One have secured a new HQ in Featherstone, West Yorkshire consisting of a 10,000ft unit and offices. The move will bring together all functions of the business and provide a larger space from which to operate.

Matthew Pert, Director of Route One said ‘This is the next step for us in the continued growth of Route One. Following the opening of our new offices in Hampshire, this facility will provide a full support service to our operations nationwide. Bridge Expansion Joint Contracts Secured for Aone+ Area 10 MAC

Route One have secured a £500k package of bridge expansion joint work which includes the installation of Stirling Lloyd’s EMR, Nosing and Asphaltic Plug Joints along with network specific drainage details for the APJ’s. The works, spread across the Area 10 network include schemes on the M6, M62, M53 amongst others.

We are delighted we can help Aone+ deliver these schemes to the Highways Agency before the year end’

Southern Office Opens in Portsmouth, Hampshire

Route One have further expanded by opening a new office and depot in Portsmouth, Hampshire. This will further Route One’s commitments in the South of England a enable us to deliver our Bridges/Structures and Highways services better to our customers.

Aone+ Area 12 goes with Route One and Ultra-band on A180 Stallingborough

Route One have successfully completed a concrete repair and crack sealing contract for Aone+ in Area 12. Involved at ECI stage, Route One used Maxicrete for the thin bonded concrete repairs (TBR) and a newly developed BBA/HAPAS approved system, ‘Ultra-band‘ for the sealing of the centreline and transverse joints.

The Ultra-band product was used in lieu of traditional ‘saw and seal’ methods and resulted in saved time, waste and a cost saving of 30%. Ultra-band is the ONLY single component fill and overband crack repair system approved by the BBA for use on both concrete and asphalt carriageways and pavements.
