Hytec is a flexible polypropylene sheet membrane, which offers exceptional mechanical properties suitable for the protection of concrete and steel structures. A geotextile Integral Protective Layer is used in combination with the Hytec membrane on rail bridge projects. Hytec has been tested by the British Board of Agrément (BBA) and is compliant and approved for use under Network Rail Line Standard NR/L3/CIV/041 Issue 3, August 2008.
